I have been a client of Charlie’s for a number of years and really cannot recommend Garbo's highly enough. I barely need to explain to Charlie what I would like - she instinctively knows the rest - and she’s never wrong! Charlie always makes every client feel valued and consistently goes the extra mile to ensure that you are completely happy with your hair. I travel by ferry from the Isle of Wight to visit Garbo’s in Southsea and heaven forbid that they ever moved out of Hampshire but I would charter a private jet! Great job, Garbo’s.

Millie did an absolutely insane job on my balayage today. From being dissapointed by other salons to losing all confidence in my hair, I came to Garbos not expecting to be as happy as I am with my new hair. She listened perfectly to what I wanted from the tome of my hair to the cut and it shows, honestly couldn’t be more happy and confident ☺️Thankyou so much Millie you’ve smashed it x

Wade is passionate about hairdressing as an art. He gently guided me to ideas to suit my face shape and colouring. I liked his opinions. He carefully separated each strand of hair for every colour foil, unconcerned at the time it took. He could envisage the outcome he sought. The best part of my five hours with Wade was watching him cut. I sat like a Cheshire cat, with a grin from ear to ear, enjoying his intense concentration. Very occasionally his tongue poked out as he worked. Laughing, Wade told me this achieved better results. For him, a good haircut was a work of art and obviously brought him great satisfaction. Each snip counted. He wasn’t in a hurry. His goal was to do the best job he could and to help every customer look and feel the best they can. He certainly achieved that with me. It was one of the most enjoyable five hours in a salon I’ve ever experienced, and I thought he did an excellent job of my colour and cut. He was fun to chat with, too.
